2027 Ultimate Sailing Calendar Captures Sailing at Full Speed and Full Scale

Green, founder of Ultimate Sailing and creator of the annual calendar, is known for photography that combines precise timing with an instinctive eye for color, light, motion and atmosphere. The 2027 launch also comes during a milestone year for Green, a 2026 inductee into the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame, recognizing her contribution to sailing and its visual legacy.

Sharon Green is an internationally recognized sailing photographer whose work is known for its color, energy and immediacy. For more than four decades, she has photographed major regattas, offshore races, America’s Cup campaigns, grand prix fleets and superyachts around the world.
Her signature style combines precise timing with an instinctive eye for light, motion and atmosphere — from aerial shoots to the deck-level drama of elite racing. Rather than simply documenting results, Green’s photography is intended to place the viewer inside the experience of sailing itself, a quality that has defined her work throughout her career.
Green founded Ultimate Sailing and created the annual Ultimate Sailing Calendar, extending her work through editorial photography, fine-art imagery and publishing. Her photographs have appeared throughout the international sailing media, and her imagery has helped shape the visual language of modern yacht racing.
In 2026, Green was named to the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame in recognition of her contribution to sailing and its visual legacy.
